Scope: Development of GStreamer v1.8.3-based Multimedia framework for local playback, trickplay, seek, live streaming, carplay and other applications on Intel IAL and Renesas RCARH3 platforms.
Solution:
- Development & integration of GStreamer Audio/Parser Plugins
- Porting to 64 bit platforms & optimization of Audio decoders, encoders & parsers for Intel APL & RCARH3 Renesas Gen3 Platforms
- Licensed Audio decoders/encoders
- MPEG1/2/2.5 Layer 1/2/3, EAACPlus, WMA STD/Pro/LSL, FLAC/ Ogg/SBC decoder and G.711/MP3 encoders on ARM Cortex-A8
- ASF Parser (VC1/WMV9, WMA/PCM/MP3 & Meta data) demux support
- Test Automation using Jenkins for daily builds, daily testing for regression check, conformance pass, stress tests, memory leaks test using Valgrind, static tool analyzer checks conducted for all modules
- Functional validation using HTTP and HTTPS streaming
- Multi-site customer interaction with two customer teams in Japan and Germany
