Scope: Customer was developing a next-gen IVI solution and was looking for a partner to develop GStreamer based Multimedia framework for local playback application and licensing of codecs for ISDB-T 1 segment Japanese Mobile TV application
Solution:
- Development and integration of GStreamer Plugin for Audio decoders and parsers
- Licensed Audio & Video decoders
- MPEG 1/2/2.5 Layer 3, AAC-LC, WMA, FLAC decoder on ARM Cortex-A8
- MPEG2 AAC + SBR and H.264 BP ARIB compliant decoders on DSP (C674x+)
- WMA decoder and ASF parser on Android StageFright / ARM Cortex-A15
- Porting and integration of decoders into GStreamer framework for local playback app
