Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team has initiated multiple programs targeting various narratives. Women empowerment, education, healthcare, nutritious food and the environment are some of our priorities. We embrace a culture committed to helping our social environment thrive.

Our CSR team members are in the pursuit of meaningful change. We empower lives, livelihoods, and nature through sustainable communities. Wherever these communities are, we ensure that they receive the right amount of care and support regularly to reach a positive outcome. In addition to India, we empower our people worldwide to deliver social impact. They support the most vulnerable. Our team focuses on the building blocks that nourish society. Environmental Goals

Carbon Neutrality: Strive towards achieving carbon neutrality in our operations by 2030, through the adoption of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency measures, and carbon offset initiatives.

Waste Reduction: Maintain initiatives to minimize waste generation and maximize recycling efforts across all operations, aiming to continue Zero waste campus status

Resource Efficiency: Optimize resource consumption by adopting sustainable practices in water usage, paper consumption, and energy efficiency, aiming to reduce resource consumption in every aspect of business operation

Social Goals

Diversity and Inclusion: Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture where every individual feels valued and respected.

Employee Well-being: Prioritize employee well-being by offering comprehensive health and wellness programs, flexible work arrangements, and professional development opportunities to enhance job satisfaction and work-life balance.

Community Engagement: Engage with local communities through volunteering initiatives, skill development programs, and partnerships with NGOs to address social challenges and contribute positively to the communities in which we operate.

IMPACT STORIES

Story 1

Impacting Lives and Empowering Women with MyLittleBit

Sasken has partnered with ‘My Little Bit’, an organization committed to providing high-quality education to marginalized young women. Through their initiative, ‘Dreamz Unlimited’, Sasken has contributed to skill enhancement and quality education of women pursuing Bachelor of Commerce (B.com), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and Bachelor of Arts (BA). Until now, this collaboration has benefitted women in three colleges across Karnataka.

Story 2

Commitment to Inclusive Science, Technology, and Mathematics (STEM) Labs

Sasken has partnered with ‘Mantra 4Change’, an organization committed to transforming the public education system in India. We partnered with Mantra4Change to set up three STEM Labs across Karnataka for promoting inclusive education to marginalized communities. Until now, the STEM labs have reached 435 students, with 53% of them being girls.

Story 3

Providing Care and Nutrition to the Elderly and Underprivileged

Sasken has partnered with the ‘Joy of Giving’ foundation team in Bangalore to provide elderly care and orphanage facilities. Through the partnership, we were able to supply 30,000 meals and 400 medical kits to elderly care homes and orphanages.
