I am responsible for managing multiple customer projects in Chennai and Bengaluru. Despite the challenges to business continuity, due to COVID-19 lockdown, deliverables in all these projects went as per their respective plans.
The transition from working at office to our residences was made possible by multiple teams working tirelessly. Our project with a Japanese Consumer Electronics conglomerate was running on an ODC model, so we sought their approval for enabling WFH. Once we got that, we established a secure environment and procured laptops for the necessary team members. The IT, facility management, and emergency response teams played a crucial role towards providing the necessary requirements. It was these efforts that led to it being business as usual for all of us, even if the work location changed.
